Healing Flood Survivors in Multan, Pakistan

My name is Dr. Shahid Iqbal and I am a doctor from Multan, Pakistan. When devastating floods struck our region, thousands of families lost their homes, livelihoods, and access to even the most basic healthcare.

To respond, we set up a Free Medical Camp to serve the flood-affected communities. In just a short time, we have already treated more than 5,000 patients — men, women, and children suffering from infections, fevers, malnutrition, skin diseases, and injuries caused by the floodwaters.

For many of them, this camp is their only access to medical care. Medicines, checkups, and compassion mean survival for them.

But the need is still overwhelming. Every day, hundreds of patients continue to come. We provide medical consultations, essential medicines, and health education — all free of cost.
